I Love Yarn Day! In-Person
Whether you are a fan of knitting, crocheting or needlepoint or just in need of fresh fiber inspiration, join us for "I Love Yarn Day"!
"I Love Yarn Day" was created in 2013 to honor Fiber Arts Crafting. It is also a a great opportunity to spend quality time with your needle or hook and yarn along with fellow fiber artists promoting the joy of creating something special. Whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting out, it will be a fun day to celebrate your passion for yarn.
In addition, a yarn swap will be held for those who wish to participate in bringing yarn from your stash that is no longer needed, All yarn should be labelled with Yarn content (wool, acrylic, cotton, etc.) as well as care instructions. In consideration of other attendees, we suggest those participating in the sway help themselves to an amount similar to what they brought to swap. All leftover yarn will be donated to a stitching group here in Woodbury to create items for the our community.
Plan to stay as long as you want; please bring food & drink for yourself if you're staying the whole day.
