A Bee's Life: The Honey Files with Catherine Wolko from The Humble Bee Honey Company In-Person

Children in grades K-5 will be introduced to the Bee Lady in full uniform. They will learn how and why she became a Beekeeper as she asks, what do we know about these amazing pollinators? Then she will introduce The Honey Files, A Bee's Life movie. During this movie, kids will learn how bees communicate, learn to fly, and collect pollen. Kids are introduced to the honey bee colony and what a Beekeeper does. After a review of the movie, a waggle dance will be demonstrated as well as the anatomy of the honey bee. The Bee Lady will provide children with bee suits to try on. Honey straws and coloring books will be handed out at the end of the event.
