Meet Your Community: OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) In-Person
Meet Your Community is a series focuses on the many wonderful nonprofits and organizations in Woodbury and beyond! This week Fiona de Merell will speak about the many opportunities OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) offers.
OLLI at UConn is a member-driven program offering non-credit learning experiences (courses, lectures, and special events) to all adults who are 50 or older and want to engage socially and intellectually with their peers. They believe in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. OLLI inspires countless discussions about the nature of family, the universe, history, language, culture, and religion. They create art, write stories, and enhance physical and emotional well-being. OLLI members break aging-stereotypes every day! By participating in OLLI’s activities, our members contribute to the health and success of the entire community.
